Health & Nutrition

Bringing awareness, preventive care and wellbeing closer to communities

Rural families often face difficulties in accessing timely health information, preventive services, nutrition guidance and appropriate referrals. Women, children, older people and geographically isolated communities may be particularly affected.

TSRD works to improve community health through awareness, screening, counselling, nutrition education, maternal and child health support, hygiene promotion and connections with public healthcare services.

The emphasis is on prevention, early identification and informed health practices. Community volunteers and local institutions are encouraged to take an active role in improving the wellbeing of their villages.
